Doran Hickey is an Atlanta native who has been in fabrication since 2015. As the 3rd apprentice to join Mass Collective, he was introduced to the practical skill set that helped him grow to be a vital member of the Atlanta creative community.

Doran is now proficient in blacksmithing and woodworking, and enjoys working on multi-disciplined projects. While at MASS, he's been an instructor, an ambassador for the space at public facing events, and member of the Board focusing on community outreach. Doran’s long-time passion for bettering the Atlanta community has helped MASS Collective forge strong bonds in the local non-profit and creative scene.

Outside of his time in the shop, Doran is a production designer who independently curates local artistic exhibitions as well as doing fabrication work on film sets.
